Smash Game Studios LLP (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the mobile application AI Buddy (“App”).

This Privacy Policy explains:

By using AI Buddy, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

A. User-Provided Content

When you use AI Buddy, we collect:

  • Text prompts that you voluntarily enter into the chat interface

We do not require account registration and do not collect names, emails, or account credentials.

B. Automatically Collected Information

When you use the App, we may automatically collect:

  • Device type

  • Operating system version

  • App version

  • General location (country-level, derived from IP)

  • IP address (required for network communication)

  • Usage interaction data (e.g., button taps, session duration)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Generate AI responses to your prompts

  • Operate and maintain the App

  • Improve app functionality and performance

  • Monitor usage trends and analytics

  • Serve advertisements through Google AdMob

We do not sell personal data.

4. Third-Party AI Service (GLM API)

AI Buddy uses a third-party artificial intelligence model called GLM, provided by:

Beijing Zhipu AI Co., Ltd. (“Zhipu AI”)

What Data Is Sent

When you submit a text prompt in AI Buddy:

  • Your text prompt

  • Relevant conversation context (if applicable within the session)

  • Technical data necessary for API communication (e.g., IP address)

is transmitted securely via HTTPS to the GLM API in order to generate a response.

Why It Is Sent

  • To generate AI responses

  • To provide the core functionality of the app

We do not control how Zhipu AI processes data beyond API usage agreements. However, we require that our third-party service providers maintain reasonable data protection standards.

5. User Consent for AI Processing

Before using AI features for the first time, users are informed that:

  • Their text input will be transmitted to a third-party AI service provider (Zhipu AI) for processing

  • AI processing occurs externally via API

By continuing to use AI features after this notice, users provide consent for this processing.

If a user does not agree, they should not use AI features within the App.

6. Data Storage and Retention

We do not store user conversations on our servers.

Text prompts are transmitted to the AI service provider solely for generating responses and are not retained by Smash Game Studios LLP.

Retention policies of the AI provider are governed by their own policies.

Analytics data may be retained in aggregated or anonymized form for performance analysis.

7. Analytics

We use third-party analytics services to understand how users interact with AI Buddy.

Analytics may collect:

  • App usage behavior

  • Session length

  • Interaction events

  • Device information

This data is used solely to improve app performance and user experience.

Analytics data is collected in anonymized or aggregated form and is not used to personally identify users.

8. Advertising (Google AdMob)

AI Buddy displays advertisements through Google AdMob.

Google AdMob may collect and process:

  • Device identifiers

  • Advertising ID

  • IP address

  • Interaction data

  • Approximate location

This data is used to serve relevant advertisements and measure ad performance.

AdMob operates under Google’s privacy policies and data protection standards.

Users may manage ad preferences through their device settings.

We do not sell personal data.

We may share data only with:

  • Beijing Zhipu AI Co., Ltd. (GLM AI provider) for AI response generation

  • Analytics providers for performance tracking

  • Google AdMob for advertising

  • Legal authorities if required by law

All third-party service providers are expected to maintain appropriate data protection safeguards.

10. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all data transmissions between the App and third-party services.

While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

11. Children’s Privacy

AI Buddy is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or equivalent minimum age in applicable jurisdictions).

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • Request access to collected data

  • Request deletion

  • Withdraw consent
